ABOUT ME

HI FRIEND! THANKS FOR STOPPING BY.

I’m just your average 25 year old striving to leave my mark on this world. I grew up in central PA with the most incredible family, and nothings makes my heart happier than being with them. In 2015, I married my high-school sweetheart Brandon. At the time I had just graduated college, and Brandon was finishing his sophomore year of college as he was living out his dream playing football for Penn State University. Our first three years of marriage were constantly centered around football. It was a humbling time that allowed me to grow and mature in so many ways.

I put off medical school for a few years, and struggled to find my identity and purpose in this time of waiting. The Lord has been so gracious to me, and has strengthened my faith as a praying wife, a faithful sister, and a loving friend. I have learned patience, contentment, and to find joy in the smallest things.

My sister Emily and I co-founded and run our non-profit together, Honduran Soles. We aim to provide children and adults with shoes around the world. We have been able to send out over 19,500 pairs of shoes across 22 countries so far. Only God! It has taught us what true faith and obedience looks like.

I love to write and share my heart with others because I believe there is so much strength in being vulnerable and allowing God to use you right where you are at. I pray that every word I write would encourage your heart and show you the power of Christ. I pray that it would show you that a life surrendered to Him is always worth it, no matter the cost.

Luke 6:45 says that “Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.” My prayer is that together we would fill every part of our hearts and lives with His truth, and that in return, patience, love, kindness, gratefulness, humility and joy would be some of the qualities that come out of our hearts. Lets strive to always speak life and encouragement by filling our hearts with more of HIM.

Here’s to a journey of following Him and never turning back.
