Just a glimpse into my heart

{And If Not, You Are Still Good}

IN EVERY SEASON YOU ARE STILL GOD. THROUGH IT ALL, YOU ARE FAITHFUL. I WILL TRUST IN YOU. Do we really believe this? Do we truly believe that no matter our circumstances, God is good and faithful, and that He has our best interest at heart? Do we really believe that no matter what hardships may come, or how desperate our situation may seem, God…

{God’s Promises: A Rainbow & A Broken Helmet}

If I am being honest, last week I was struggling to trust God’s plan. I felt discouraged and frustrated, and doubt slowly began to creep in. Throughout last week, I was struggling to find the right words to say/pray, and my heart just felt so defeated. Have any of you ever felt like that? I would go to Beaver Stadium to pray, (something I do…

{ A Wife Who Prays }

A little over a year ago, the Lord began speaking to my heart challenging me as a wife in how I love and serve Brandon. My biggest area of conviction was prayer. I was not praying for Brandon like I should have been. The Lord began teaching me the importance of praying for my husband, and I believe it was a powerful word that applies…

{Brandon’s first PSU start: 4 year dream comes to pass}

{Facebook post from October 5th, 2016} “Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass…” {Isaiah 46:10} There is truly no other explanation for this dream but the hand of God. 4 years ago in July when Brandon had just begun his time at Penn State, I had a vivid dream at night that I knew…

{Scholarship: Prophetic Word Comes to Pass 2 Years Later}

{Facebook post from August 28,2016} This past summer, the Lord began calling me to be in prayer for Brandon more than ever before. One day, I felt like the Lord was prompting me to go pray at the stadium, so I did. I began walking around the stadium praying; praying for Brandon, his teammates, his coaches, and the upcoming season. It was such an encouraging…

  • So thankful for the past few months to step back
    1 month ago by andreasmith23 So thankful for the past few months to step back, refocus and gain perspective. Still some unknowns, but never felt more confident that God has a perfect plan for Brandon and I. Joy, peace and fullness of life. Trusting & waiting to see His perfect plan revealed. Thankful for grace & mercy when my heart is overwhelmed or filled with discontent, envy, fear & doubt. Trying to soak up every moment as God works in & through us, reminding myself to be content in the NOW, and not always looking ahead to the future. So much joy in the simple
  • Not enough words to say how much I love
    4 weeks ago by andreasmith23 Not enough words to say how much I love & appreciate my dad. Happy birthday Most of you know my dad’s a surgeon, but what I admire about him the most is his humility and love for others and how he puts his faith at the center of all he does. Before every surgery, he prays with his patients and their families if they are willing. He has the best heart. The world needs more Charlie Coles.
  • Many times when God isnt changing your circumstance its because
    1 week ago by andreasmith23 Many times when God isn’t changing your circumstance, it’s because He’s mostly concerned with changing YOU within the circumstance. Your character, your inner strength, & your integrity matters to Him because they are everlasting qualities. The wisdom, the strength and the maturity that grows within you are all things you’re going to need to sustain the calling God has on your life. Know that there is purpose in all things. - Britney Moses
