my bio

My name is Andrea and I am so thankful you have joined me on this journey. I hope my blog will give you a little glimpse into my life and marriage and the crazy things God has/is doing!

I grew up in a small town in Central PA with one sister and three brothers. I have such great memories growing up with my siblings, and to this day, they are still my best friends.

In 2015 I graduated from Messiah College and am currently taking some time off before pursuing Medical School.

I am the co-founder of a non-profit organization with my sister Emily called Honduran Soles, which aims to provide shoes to children all around the world. To date, we have sent out over 12,000 pairs of shoes to 21 different countries. Running a non-profit has been life-changing and has taught me that nothing is impossible when you trust in God.

In June of 2015, I married my high school sweetheart Brandon after dating for almost 5 years. The past two years of marriage have been incredible and have taught me so much about myself. Brandon is my best friend and getting to be by his side every day is truly the greatest gift!

My husband is currently living out his dream playing football for Penn State University (#47), and our journey the past few years has been nothing short of miraculous. After countless requests, I have finally decided to begin blogging this journey in hopes of inspiring you all to trust God through every season of life. My journey as a wife to a division one football player has been anything but easy, but I believe our story offers hope, encouragement, and faith to all who read it. I believe that God is using our time here at Penn State, and the platform of football, to constantly display His power, love, and faithfulness to all who follow my husband’s story. I believe that God has allowed us to be married so young for a specific purpose, and I am daily trying to honor God through my life as a wife, friend, and believer. God has done incredible things in our lives so far, and I believe He has given us a powerful story to share. His faithful hand and power have been constant over the past 3 years, and I pray you find encouragement and hope through my blog as I share what God is doing. I know that this is just the beginning of greater things to come. My prayer is that God continues to use our story to point others back to HIM. We are just two people, daily trying to honor and serve the God who has given us this beautiful life. God bless you all. Happy reading!
